This below surface sealer is also ideal for sealing all types of masonry, stucco, concrete and sanded grout. It has a special blend of polymers and resins that bond to the stone and creates a water and oil repellent membrane to prevent staining, yet it allows the stone to breathe and release moisture vapors. It is ideal for interior and exterior use and is UL classified for slip resistance.

Recommendations:

Always test a small area before using to determine if the product is applicable.

All stains, moisture, and dirt must be removed prior to the sealer application and must remain dry 24-48 hours after application.

The surface must be completely dry before applying.

Allow three hours after the application before walking on the surface.

Preparing the Surface:

All surfaces must be clean and free from debris and remain dry for 24 hours before the application of WATER BASED SEALER and remain dry for 24 hours after the application.

Floor surface temperature must be above 50 degrees F and below 90 degrees F.

Directions:

SMOOTH POLISHED OR SMOOTH HONED SURFACE:

(1) Floor surface must be dust mopped to remove all loose grit and debris.

(2) All topical coatings must be removed with low alkaline stripper. (Solvent coatings should be stripped with a solvent based stripper).

(3) Follow stripping with a deep cleaning process to clean out the pores of the stone. Use a rayon mop with this procedure.

(4) Surface must be rinsed with STONE FLOOR CLEANER to reduce any alkali or acidic residue and to remove any surface soils.

(5) Be sure that the surface is dry for at least twelve hours.

(6) Apply the WATER BASED SEALER using a rayon mop in a figure eight motion.

(7) Completely wet the surface, if excess remains on the surface after five minutes, buff off with an all white bonnet pad.

(8) Always apply a clean trash can liner in the bucket before using to prevent contamination. (9) Apply yearly in high traffic areas.

ROUGH OR TEXTURED SURFACE:

(1) Sweep the floor surface with a soft bristle broom and follow above procedures 1-5.

(2) Completely wet the surface by applying WATER BASED SEALER with a pump sprayer.

(3) Let the application dry completely.

GROUT:

(1) Follow procedures 1-5 on smooth surface application.

(2) Dab or brush the WATER BASED SEALER onto the grout. Completely wet the grout and let it dry.

(3) After five minutes, remove any excess that remains on the surrounding surface.

GROUT RELEASE:

(1) Install the stone with the proper setting materials and follow procedures 1-5 on smooth surface application.

(2) Apply sealer to the stone following the smooth stone application procedures.

(3) Apply grout to the joints.

(4) Wipe off remaining residue with STONE FLOOR CLEANER using a mop or sponge application.

(5) Seal sanded grout 24 hours after curing.

VANITY TOPS OR WALL SURFACES:

(1) Spray clean the surface with STONE COUNTERTOP CLEANER and then follow procedures 1-5 on smooth stone application procedures.

(2) Apply the WATER BASED SEALER using a clean terry cloth rag.

(3) After five minutes, wipe off excess with a soft white terry cloth.

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE:

(1) General cleaning of floor surfaces use SSTONE SOAP SPECIAL.

WET MOPPING:

Use clean rayon mops.

Change the mop solution every 1,000 to 2,000 square feet.

AUTOMATIC SCRUBBING:

Use two ounces of STONE FLOOR CLEANER to one gallon of warm or cold water.

Use clean and fexible nylon brushes.

HIGH PRESSURE WASHING:

Use four ounces of STONE FLOOR CLEANER to one gallon of warm or cold water.

INTENSIVE CLEANING:

Use six to eight ounces of STONE FLOOR CLEANER to one gallon of warm water and follow proper application procedures.

SPONGE CLEANING (Removing thin set residue):

Dilute two to four ounces of STONE FLOOR CLEANER to one gallon of warm water.

Apply solution to the surface and let it set for two minutes.

Perfect for Daily Cleaning

Safe to use on food handling surfaces, and perfect for daily cleaning of table tops, vanities, countertops, columns and walls. It also cleans all brands of solid surfaces such as: DuPont Corian®, Wilsonart Gibraltor®, Avonite®, Swanstone®, Fountainhead®, and all other brands. Simply spray on and wipe off with a soft absorbent cloth.

Easily Removes Any Surface Soils

This concentrated pH balanced tile and grout cleaner will easily remove any surface soils with it's penetrating action that actually lifts dirt off of the surface. It will even penetrate into grout and remove soap scum, mold, mildew, algae, grease, oil and lime deposits.

Dilute NON-ACID TILE & GROUT CLEANER 1-2 ounces per gallon of warm water.

Apply solution with a clean mop or sponge.

Let solution dry on the surface.

Rinsing is not necessary.

SPRAY CLEANING:

Dilute NON-ACID TILE & GROUT CLEANER at 1-2 ounces per quart of warm water.

Spray onto the stone surface and let it set for one minute.

Wipe off with a clean soft cloth.

GROUT CLEANING:

Dilute NON-ACID TILE & GROUT CLEANER 4-6 ounces per quart of warm water.

Apply the NON-ACID TILE & GROUT CLEANER to the grout and let it stand for three minutes.

Wipe off with a clean dry terry cloth towel.

Dissolves and Lifts Dirt

This highly concentrated product has an acidic pH balance that removes soap scum, calcium build-up, efflorescence, hard water spots, and grout haze. When cleaning, it actually dissolves and lifts dirt off of the surface. It will even penetrate into grout and remove mold, mildew, algae and lime deposits.

Grout should be protected with SOLVENT-BASED SEALER or WATER BASED SEALER.

Directions:

WET MOPPING OR SPONGE MOP (Ceramic Tile and Porcelain Surfaces):

Dilute 1-2 ounces per gallon of warm water.

Apply solution with a clean mop or sponge.

Let solution dry on the surface.

Rinse with STONE FLOOR CLEANER to neutralize any residue.

SPRAY CLEANING:

Dilute ACID TILE & GROUT CLEANER 10 ounces per quart of warm water.

Spray onto the tile or grout surface and let it set for one minute.

Wipe off with a clean soft cloth.

GROUT CLEANING:

Dilute ACID TILE AND GROUT CLEANER 32 ounces per gallon of wam water. (For Heavy Duty Cleaning, mix 64 ounces of cleaner to 64 ounces of warm water.)

Apply to the grout and let it stand for three minutes.

Begin scrubbing the surface with a short and sturdy bristled scrub-brush or with a 175-rpm floor machine using a brush.

Wipe off with a clean dry terry cloth towel, sponge or pick up with a wet/dry vacuum.

Rinse with STONE FLOOR CLEANER.

Interior and Exterior Use

It will polish back the original appearance that the stone once had. It works on floors, walls, vanities, tables and columns.

Follow the recommended Chemspec cleaning procedures for STONE FLOOR CLEANER & STONE COUNTERTOP CLEANER.

If heavy abrasions or scratches are on the surface, use HONING POWDER prior to using the polishing cream.

If scratches are deep and severe, contact a professional stone restoration company.

Cover all surfaces that are not stone.

Always wear potective clothing such as safety goggles, gloves, and footwear.

Adding more water can help eliminate hazing on black marble.

MINERAL DEPOSIT REMOVER contains a small amount of petroleum distillates.

Do not smoke when using.

Directions for Use:

MARBLE COUNTERTOPS, TABLETOPS, VANITIES, WALLS:

Clean the surface with STONE COUNTERTOP CLEANER.

Shake the MINERAL DEPOSIT REMOVER until the product thickens. (Keep shaking the bottle after each use).

Add a few small drops of water to the damaged area and then apply a dab of MINERAL DEPOSIT REMOVER to the dull or damaged area.

With a piece of red buffing pad or a clean, damp white terry cloth towel, begin buffing in a circular motion. (Red buffing pads will provide a better result due to its polishing nature).

Wipe off when desired appearance is attained.

Rinse with STONE COUNTERTOP CLEANER.

Protect the surface with COUNTERTOP/WALL POLISH. The same process can be used for small floor areas, but do not apply the COUNTERTOP/WALL POLISH to any floor surface.

MARBLE FLOORS (Using a 175 rpm Buffing Machine):

MINERAL DEPOSIT REMOVER should be used with a hogs hair pad or red buffing pad.

Approximate usage is one ounce per five square feet.

Be sure to remove all coatings, dust and loose sediment from the surface prior to applying MINERAL DEPOSIT REMOVER.

Apply three inches of MINERAL DEPOSIT REMOVER to the worn surface, spray water over the MINERAL DEPOSIT REMOVER, and begin buffing directly into the floor with 175-rpm's. The cream should remain pasty throughout the buffing process.

Buff until the haze is completely gone and a natural shine appears on the floor.

Rinse the floor immediately with STONE FLOOR CLEANER.
